...The train caught fire.

So last Sunday, Merleee and I went to Antwerp Central so she can go back to the Netherlands, as usual. But there was something weird going on.
Out of the air vents came a strange burnt smell. I wanted to warn the train conductor, but he was nowhere near sight, as we were at the back of the train. When we arrived in Ghent, a group of scouts entered our small compartment (who is only for 7 people, and they were with 11. Still no idea whatsoever why they always have to be so extremely noisy and annoying). Turns out that smell wasn't just something stuck in the air vents, the front part of the train was actually "on fire". It was probably just a brake that got stuck against the wheel or something, no idea, we got no information at all, only that the first part of the train got decoupled and we could continue our journey. Surprisingly, it took only 10 minutes. :dummy:

On the train back to my dorm, when I was alone again, there were 3 policemen on the train. For some reason they gave me a suspicious look when they walked by. Then they came back and just took my train ticket without saying a thing. They asked how long I've been waiting for the train. I just said a few hours, as I had no idea how much time has passed between arrived at Antwerp and going to leave. They asked "What's a few hours," and I answered that I just wanted to get my girlfriend safely on her train. Then they asked for my ID Card and asked me where I live. I answered the question and they repeated my answer. I then asked what the problem was and they said they were just monitoring, which I found kinda odd as they controlled only me. Then they gave everything back and left. It was kinda intimidating if you ask me :noes:

Besides that, we got a lovely Valentines weekend :dummy:
