My sturdy Nokia, which I have for 5 years or so, is becoming less and less useful/powerful. The battery life is decreasing pretty quickly, It doesn't want to connect to the internet anymore, I have the feeling some people can't call me or don't receive my texts and it froze 2-3 times just last month...
And even though I'm not the biggest fan of smartphones, I think it's time to finally get one myself. I found some useful apps (I still hate that word) that only smartphones can use anyway.
Now the thing is... I don't know anything about smartphones. Like seriously, I feel like a grandpa around those things. I'm so adjusted to using buttons, just typing on my gf's smartphone is a disaster. But apparently smartphones wit physical keyboards are way too expensive, so I guess I'll have to adjust myself to that.

And as there are a LOT of smartphones, I just have no idea which one I should pick. Maybe someone knows a suggestion for me? It shouldn't be an iPhone, preferably have Android. I don't really care about memory space (although it should have enough RAM to run smoothly enough) and it should have an okay battery life. Also decent sound quality obviously, and not too expensive.

It's really weird how I'm only 20 years old and technology is already going too fast for me :noes:

I also got my grades back last week. Let's just say they're.... pretty low for my standards? I passed 3 out if 5 courses, and the other two are right below the amount you need to pass. One of them is is just a project I can still continue to work on (because the researc, documentation, preproduction are all pretty great, it's just the final product that's not so good) and the other one is Scripting, and I hate scripting. Hopefully they'll just let me pass at the end of this year, because I am not going to redo that. As the Dutch say, no hair on my head that thinks about that.

Speaking about school, I'll start my internship next week. This probably means that I'll mostly be active during the evenings, I have no idea how much they'll allow me to be on dA/Skype/Twitter during the working hours. But this also means that I got no homework, so I actually have more free time, and that means more time to draw. That is, if I don't have an art block.

I am also looking for new clothes for Lucy! Not to change her usual style, but that she has more things to wear instead of a cropped shirt and short jeans. It can be anything, as long as it suits her (which means a bit revealing, and simple, not too many fringes and such.)

And as a final note, I think I'm going to keep Journals for bigger amounts of text and Status Posts for smaller things, otherwise Journals are more like weekly newspapers about my oh so interesting life :dummy:
