Totally not an 'attack' on rich people
Wario has a lot of money, so does Scrooge McDuck. But whose fortune has the most value? We'll let them discuss for a while
I tried a new tactic for this drawing, something I like to call as 'reverse-engineered drawing'. It's taking a reference picture and try to figure out with basic circles and lines how they draw the characters. When I got a basic idea how they did it, I use the same procedure and voila! It's really useful and you learn more from it than just tracing the images, because if you know the basics, you can give them more poses
The most boring part to draw might be the coins. They're all original and not a single coin has been copy-pasted. Also, can you find all the references to all the Mario games in Wario's coin pile?
It was kind of difficult to find reference pics for Scrooge, as it exists for a long time, so the colours have been changed a lot (sometimes his bill is more yellow, sometimes more orange. The design of the coins and dollar bills also change, from being simple coins and papers with a dollar sign on it to very detailed coins and real dollar bills).
Not sure where I got this idea, but man, I really love crossovers! Might explain why I like Wreck-It Ralph so much
Advice to make me a better artist? Feel free to say so
Crack brushes by
Wario, Mushroom Coins and ?-Block Belong to Nintendo
Scrooge McDuck belongs to Disney
(fun fact: Scrooge McDuck is called Dagobert in Dutch. Huey, Dewey, and Louie are called Kwik, Kwek and Kwak and Daisy Duck is called Katrien. Dont ask me why)
