[3D] [CONTEST] Yarni Frolicking in the Forest

Or should I say, TreeD ?

I entered another contest from Picarto! This month's theme was to have Yarni, one of their mascots, be in a autumn-themed scenery. I decided to pick a classic choice, a gorgeous forest with warm colours and freshly fallen leaves on the ground.

Every texture is digitally painted, no real images here! There are also about 2 million polygons, more than 20 000 leaves and plenty of trees in this scene. This is also my first try to work with particles in Blender




After using Blender for half a year, I decided to now actually learn it to make more 3D art like this! I hope I can make more things like this in the future, as I'm also currently making my character in 3D as well. Rendering these things are... less fun, as people who have notices my status updates and/or tweets have already found out
